![]() ![]() To the tribes, the railroad represented an end to their livelihood, since for millennia they’d relied on free-roaming buffalo to survive. Some staged brutal attacks on settlers and railroad workers without regard to age or gender. The more the white colonizers needlessly slaughtered buffalo, the angrier Indigenous people grew. They also urged hunters to kill as many buffalo as possible without oversight and encouraged trains to stop so passengers could massacre buffalo for sport. In the hopes of squashing the livelihood of the Native American people on the Plains, the government allowed the railroads to kill scores of buffalo herds to lay railroad tracks. Vowing to avoid the same fate, the Plains Indians settled in for a long and fierce holdout. He was promoted several times and by the time the war ended, he was a Major General in charge of a Cavalry division. When the Civil War broke out in April 1861, Custer joined the Union Army’s Cavalry and soon proved himself a competent, reliable soldier in battles such as the First Battle of Bull Run and the Battle of Gettysburg. Phlema and the SoulWorker unit face off one another and the group becomes victorious as Phlema perishes after exhausting all of his energy. However, Kant lends Phlema his SinForce allowing Phlema to gain new abilities. Luckily, Godren and NED Company intervene to face against the Firestream in the name of survivial, allowing the SoulWorker Unit to focus their efforts on a rare chance to defeat a weakened Phlema. ![]() Unforuntely, Phlema is able to raze a significant portion of Grace City and is able to successfully divide the SoulWorker unit by forcing them with the dual task of searching survivors while facing against the main assault force. After the successful relaunch of the Project, Ephnel joins the SoulWorker Unit.Īfter failing to capture Ruin Fortress, Phlema makes his way towards Grace City where the SoulWorkers attempt to catch up to him. Due to the danger of the Ressurection Project, the group defeats Medo and reawakens Ephnel using Phlema's Horn and Naomin sacrifices herself to successfully reactive the project. The SoulWorker Unit and the Blood SoulWorkers work together to stop them but Medo is able to breach Ruin Fortress and learns about the Resurrection Project. The Starry Forest League receives word that the Firestream Battalion is attempting to capture Ruin Fortress by using a small unit consisting of members of the Vaccum Fanatics led by Medo and Lupan. Grace City has established it's final line of defense and is preparing for the Firestream Battalion's assault. ![]()
